What You'll Learn:

Dr. Carolina Koutras, Director of Clinical Studies at R-Zero, partnered with Dr. Edward Nardell (Harvard Medical School) and Dr. David Brenner (Columbia University Medical Center) to discuss the utilization of ultraviolet radiation in indoor environments.

Drawing from their shared expertise in germicidal ultraviolet disinfection, these experts discuss:

  • Achieving continuous, autonomous disinfection via well-developed and emerging UVC technologies
  • Understanding safety and efficacy consideration of various UV applications
  • Implementing germicidal UV lamps and fixtures to enhance HVAC and filtration systems

Watch the webinar to learn best practices for incorporating UVC disinfection into your Healthcare facility.

david-brenner

David Brenner, Ph.D., D.Sc
Director of the Center for Radiological Research at Columbia University

Dr. Brenner is the Director for the oldest and largest radiological research laboratory in the world. He researches the effects of varying levels of radiation as they relate to radiation therapy and radiological, environmental, and occupational exposures.

edward-nardell

Edward Nardell, M.D.
Physician; Harvard Medical School and Harvard School of Public Health Professor

Dr. Nardell has nearly 20 years’ experience in researching and treating airborne infectious diseases such as tuberculosis with germicidal UV light. An expert in his field, he has now turned his research to testing UV on the SARS-CoV-2 virus.

"The three established and proven air disinfection technologies are mechanical ventilation, upper room GUV, and portable room air cleaners. Of these, upper room UV is the most cost-effective and is demonstrably safe and readily available to deploy today to reduce COVID-19 and other respiratory virus transmission. "
